Overall Goal of the project:
In the absence of a safe way to seek help and increased risk of domestic violence as many survivors have been trapped in their homes with their abusers during the COVID-19 pandemic, this project is designed to make changes for the benefit of women and girls to improve their wellbeing and reduce the effect of S/GBV&DV by improving the social protection and prevention mechanisms as a response to S/GBV&DV during and after COVID-19 Pandemic, enhancing the capacity of community leaders, CBOs members, women, girls, men, and boys to respond to S/GBV&DV, advocating for the enforcement of the Jordanian law of protection from domestic violence, conducting evidence-based community research.
This project is mainly targeting Syrian women refugees in Mafraq and Irbid hosting communities together with vulnerable Jordanians.
