The project created a Regional Knowledge network on water that assists in strengthening the application of systemic approaches to water management and water governance by local authorities in five countries (Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon and Morocco) and it aim was to influence the policy and decision making processes in a way to enhance good governance in the water sector. R-KNOW incorporated practical existing knowledge (good practices and case studies) from different sources and helps create and facilitate access to knowledge at the regional, national and local levels.
